Lee Ann Balta provides her clients with a wealth of professional real estate expertise, as well as a lifetime of experience in several business sectors. Early in her career, she worked in human resources in the construction industry. She earned her degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan University while working and raising a family. That experience was instrumental in leading her to open the first Indianapolis location of Small Blessings, a nationally accredited preschool program built on the idea of providing high-quality, immersion-style learning while honoring the parents’ role as the primary influence in the child’s life.
Those “people-first” lessons served Lee Ann well when she found herself at a career crossroads and decided to pursue real estate. In 2016 she completed the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtor’s elite REAL Academy, a leadership program in which she excelled.
Lee Ann views her role as going beyond the mere transactional aspects of buying or selling a home. “I collaborate with families to ready their houses for the market, establish goals for their next home, support them through the entire process, and continue to add value well beyond the transaction,” Lee Ann said. She hires a professional photographer and stager to present each home she lists in the best possible light and provides the sellers with a detailed list of recommendations for improving the home’s chances of selling. Her approach has paid off. While the typical agent in this area sells less than five homes a year, Lee Ann has averaged 24 homes in each of the seven years she has been in real estate.
An Indianapolis native, Lee Ann is married to Dale, and together they have four adult children. She serves on the Realtor Association’s Economic Development Council and is an active member of the Zionsville Lions Club. A devoted sponsor of Habitat for Humanity, she heads a team each year that helps construct the Women Build house for the Boone County Habitat chapter.
